The new 29th floor addition to the Hearst Tower for the Good Housekeeping Research Institute has a total program of 16,000 GSF / 14,500 NSF with 6,500 NSF of laboratory, lab support, lab workstation and laboratory storage space.

The laboratory departments included on this new floor include, Health, Beauty and Environmental Sciences, Kitchen Appliances and Technology, Homecare Appliances & Cleaning Products, Textiles, Paper & Plastics, Consumer Electronics & Engineering and Nutrition. These departments test and evaluate consumer products for the "Good Housekeeping Promises" seal of approval.

Jacobs Consultancy provided programming through construction administration services for this project.
